People hire photographers for their big milestones in life all the time. Weddings, Engagement's, Maternity, different types of events and parties. So why shouldn't your birth be any different? When I tell people that I am a Birth Photographer some of their first reactions is "You take pictures of that?" Yes, yes I take pictures of that,. Because why wouldn't you want to capture one of the biggest moments in your life? The day your heart was so full of love and pure joy. The day you will never want to forget.

So this is where I come in.

As your birth photographer I will focus on capturing the genuine, vulnerable moments shared between you and your partner. The strength of the labouring mother, and most of all, the emotion when you get to hear and see your sweet little baby for the first time. I am here to take the pressure off of you and your partner, so you don't have to worry about pulling out the cell phone trying to capture a memory of that moment and now you can just live in it fully without distraction.

There is so much going on, it's kind of hard to process it all at that time. Some people don't remember half of what happened in those moments, it can be such a blur. So having these pictures to look back on will bring all those feelings flooding back and you will be able to experience your birth story all over again and begin to fully process it all. These are memories that will last you a lifetime

Here are some things to expect when you book with me.

Once you reach 38 weeks I will start my 24hrs On Call time until you give birth. When you are in active labour or 5cm+ that's when I will come to the hospital to start documenting your birth story. I know hospital rooms are small and can get cluttered real easily, especially when you have been there for a few hours. So you might see me moving things out of the way, but for the most part I will be a fly on the wall. After the birth I will stay up to 1-2 hours documenting the Golden Hour of bonding, along with all the details of your baby.

When I get home I will scan through your gallery and pick out some of the best pictures for a sneak peek and send them to you within the first 24-36 hrs. In 2-3 weeks you will then receive your full gallery of 75+ edited images that will be sent to you via email. In your own personal online gallery you will be able to download low resolution photos that will be watermarked for online sharing. A separate flash drive containing your High Resolution images will be mailed to you. Along with your online gallery you will have the option to send your images to be printed out at a Professional Printing Lab for the best quality. All images will come with Printing Rights.

To book simply contact me via email, phone, or website. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot, which will be applied towards your session balance. A signed contract & client Information Form will also need to be filled out at the time of booking before a date can be scheduled.
